Paula Fletcher: From a stand in an outdoor crafts market in Seattle and Portland, to a storefront in Soho, to living rooms across the land, to its current happy home in San Francisco, DumbClothing has paralleled the free-spirit of its creator and founder. With a new online boutique, DumbClothing is set to spread its message to the rest of the world as well. First and foremost, this clothing is designed to be flattering no matter what your shape and size. The media places unwarranted emphasis on size and weight. Part of the reason for this clothing is to help undo the warped perception. This attitude of appreciation and acceptance can translate into every area of our lives. DumbClothing is about having a sense of humor and feeling free enough to express yourself with your clothing. Being stopped on the street to receive compliments is the added bonus.
